Linkbuilding examples
Posted on 28. Sep, 2011 by admin in blog
Brief: To get mulitple clients’ websites showing on Google’s 1st page for a variety of keywords, from makeup to rental cars AND to improve brand awareness in social communities.
Plan: To linkbuild via articles in such a way as to get the keywords shared amongst friends on social sites such as Digg, Delicious or Stumbleupon. The links should also be good quality, so the articles would need to be hosted on good PR blogs.
Outcome: Many of the articles we wrote containing the clients’ links were reblogged 30 – 40 times, viewed 4,000 to 14,000 times, hit the frontpage of Digg a number of times, were featured on Mixx homepage, liked on FB 40+ times and re-tweeted on Twitter 200+ times. ThisĀ of course helped to boost the clients’ websites from page 6 or 7 of Google to page 1 and 2.
